Vacha contains essential oil, resin, extractive with chloride of potassium, gum with phosphate of potassium, starchy matter, woody fiber, and water. Besides this there is Acorin, Eugenol, Cafeine etc. glycosides, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, polyphenolic compounds, mucilage, volatile oil and bitter principle.
