The bark of tree is indicated in many diseases such as piles, malabsorption symptom,s and particularly diarrhea and dysentery. The bark has anti-diarrhoeal, astringent, anti-dysenteric, anthelmintic (kills parasitic worms), carminative and digestive properties.
Uses:- Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall. (Apocynaceae) is widely used in the traditional medical system for the treatment of constipation, colic, and diarrhea. Inderjao helps to increase appetite and it helps to stimulate low digestive fire. It also helps to combat colic pain, flatus, and abdominal distention in children. Regular use of this herb helps to give strength to the body. It helps to overcome general weakness and also gives energy to body cells.
